You have 3 options when choosing ink & toner for your printer:

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) made by the printer manufacturer.

OEM Ink & Toner cartridges have been designed by the manufacturer for their specific printers and without doubt are the most expensive, but deliver quality print for those print perfect presentations.

RECOMMENDED

A remanufactured cartridge is a reconditioned OEM cartridge.

Great for everyday printing and they cost less than a new OEM cartridge.

Great for the environment because they save energy: it takes twenty times more energy to produce a new cartridge than a remanufactured one.

Great for our economy, as many remanufactured cartridges are produced here in the UK by highly-skilled, highly innovative businesses. Just the sort of industry that makes this country a success.

Compatible cartridges are manufactured by 3rd party companies.

Single-use compatible cartridges are becoming a problem. Often made with single-use low-grade plastic, they are engineered to navigate around patents, they are not, in most cases reusable, ending up in landfill sites around the world. This growing environmental problem also inhibits the remanufacturing industry acquiring adequate stocks of reusable cartridges to refill.
